How do u rate me as a guitarist?
ok just out of curiosty, wondered how other guitarist would rate me. I’ve been playing 1year and 1 month, im 16, i have a epiphone lp custom, ibanez rg3exfm1, jacksoloist,EVH custom i build, flying v i built. i can play technical difficulties, cliffs of dover, yyz, master of puppets, parts of scarified, the trooper, and a couple more harder songs. i can finger pick dust in the wind, blackbird, and im so glad. i can sweep pick at a decent speed (about 140-160bpm), i know most of my scales and modes, i can create a riff off the top of my head that sounds decent, i can sight read chords and or tabs, i can tune my guitars by ear, and iv never taken any lessons. so on a scale from 1-10, 10 being best, 1 sucks beyond belief, how good am i for only playing 1 yr and 1 month?
Yea, i don’t have a camera currently but my drummers mom is videotaping us playing at the talent show either tomorrow or next friday so ill post em up
If you can play Cliffs of Dover like Eric Johnson, and Scarified like Paul Gilbert, you do not even need to fish for compliments.
