Taylor 310ce Dreadnought

will light strings sound good?

So..ive been playing acoustic guitar for about 5 years and I recently purchased a taylor 310ce. I know that on a dreadnought mediums would be preferable, however i like playing jazz and sometimes spanish tunes that really sound better with light strings. will i get a buzz or intonation if i strap on some elixir light polywebs or will i be ok? I know that by just trying it out i could solve this myself but elixirs cost about 20 bucks so i dont want to get the wrong ones

you should go ahead and get the light strings if thats the kind of stuff your into. it won’t buzz or do anything funny. i’m sure of it.
