What’s some artist or grouple I could listen to to influence my Spanish guitar playing?
I’m playing at a restuarant and I’m wanting to get better at my playing. I have a guitarist that plays a spanishy guitar progression while I do a lead over it using a mode that sounds spanish and just improvise over that some mixing a little blues in where appropriate. The problem is I haven’t really heard any spanish music where the melody is really centered on the guitar other than flamenco(which I have yet to get down enough to perform publicly haha) so what’s some stuff I can listen to so I can get some fresh ideas. I don’t want scales to be my only influence for that sound. Please keep in mind i just perform with another guitar so I wanna listen to guitar centered stuff.
