ACOUSTIC GUITAR NOTES HELP! PLEASE HELP ME!!?
My mom bought me a guitar for band and I really want to learn only exception or eenie meenie but chords are really confusing. in band we don’t use chords we just use singe notes (if that exists) If you can find me a song that’s not in chords (please popular hits not old songs or anything) that would be fantastic! But if you can’t can you please explain to me how do I play a chord, and also my fingers seem that they are not large enough to go across one fret. example i need to put my finger on the 1st fret and 2nd my fingers can’t really reach.
if your dead set on not learning chords check out “the presidents of the united states of america”, their guitarist only uses 3 or 4 oversize strings.
however i would strongly suggest learning your chords, you’ll have a much better experience with the guitar. start with power chords, they are all the same shape you just move them and they only require 2-3 fingers. your hands will develop, its just takes some time, practice and perseverance.
also try using a stress ball to strengthen your fingers when your not playing
