Music is an art form whose medium is sound.
Common elements of music are pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm
(and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics,
and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture. The word derives from
Greek (mousike), “(art) of the Muses”.
To many people in many cultures music is an important part of their way of life.

We discourage you to download music illegally. You should buy music or find free music.
There are a lot of services accross the Internet that lets you take music. Just
choose wisely because some download services or file sharing will bring a lot
of viruses that may harm your computer andor your personal information, like credit card
numbers.

As said before be aware before using this services. You should read carefully the
terms of service of the sites that provides free music and notice if they are
allowed to provide you the music, because those sites may being infringing copyright
policies.
Also make sure you have a good updated anti-virus program to avoid phishing, scams
and identity theft.
YouTube music videos
YouTube provides free music videos, they seems to pay copyright costs with revenue
they get with advertising ads. Sometimes videos are restricted to some countries
or they get removed due to copyright claims made by the owner of the copyrighted material:

Don’t forget that the people that makes music (producers and artists) have the objective
of sell their music. Sometimes they allow the music to be used without licence because
it’s a way of promotion, but the goal is always to get more revenues.

With the arising of social media and the Internet, video is a popular way of getting
entertainment online. Currently the common technology that provides Internet videos
is the Adobe Flash pluggin. Although there is an alternative technology called HTML5 that
is new and have advantages/disadvantages from the traditional flash player.
Most of the browsers don’t have this feature yet. Google chrome and Safari can load

Listening to music is a way of life.
Music lyrics
A lot of videos of YouTube have lyrics included. There is free software to make videos
with lyrics embedded, just make a search on Google and you will find a lot of lyrics
and Software.
