Guitar basics???????????????
Ahh this is so sad.
Anyway about two years ago my brother started guitar lessons but I eould go after school anyway. To make a long story short I learned some songs but NO chords or strings. I have been wanting to do guitar ever since. I have an acoustic guitar already. My friend suggested looking online like youtube and teach myself and tune it myself? If you could help em and maybe show me some videos I would love you forever :]
I just watched the video the first poster put up and it’s not a good one. The girl doesn’t tell you what the string names and what their number values are, and that’s the single most important thing that EVERY guitar player should know.
Starting with the string closest to you going down, the string names (and number value) are as follows:
E (6th string)
A (5th string)
D (4th string)
G (3rd string)
B (2nd string)
E (1st string)
A way to remember this is Eddie Ate Dynamite Good Bye Eddie.
