How do you read tabs in terms of Guitar Hero?
I want to make a custom song on Guitar Hero: World Tour, but I’m not sure how the tabs for the song translate into the controller. The song is Luv Addict by Family Force 5, my friends and I really want to play it and we have the tabs, but I’m not sure how tabs translate into the Guitar Hero controller since it doesn’t have a full fret board.
I’d need either a conversion chart or a translation or something, because I have no idea.

The buttons on a guitar hero guitar do not logically translate to the fretboard of a real guitar, so the tabs won’t directly translate. I mess up more on G.H. songs that I know how to play on a real guitar, because the finger movements do not match what I already know AT ALL. I would treat the board like simple ascending notes, and add chords where the tab adds chords, but just progress them up or down based on how the pitch of the song changes…that seems to be the logic behind the default G.H. songs.
