Are there any acoustic guitar experts out there who can help?
I have never even thought about playing guitar until just now. I think it would be so much fun and I want to do something new and make it a hobby. I would like to know what is the best acoustic guitar for a beginner and about how much would it cost? I have no idea how to play and I don’t know the notes or anything else about guitar. I have held one and played a few random notes but that’s about it, I didn’t know what I was doing. I live overseas so it would be hard for me to get lessons and besides i don’t want to pay for the lessons anyways so my last question is, Do you know any free sites or videos or something where I could learn or something else that could help? Thanks and you may add additional info if you’d like.
only problem with all of your answers is that none of the sites you suggested actually ship overseas. I need a site that will ship overseas.
Here are a few links to nice guitars and very affordable. Takamine and Epiphone are 2 good sounding guitars.
The finish on Takamine is slightly better as well as the action. But Epiphone still have a nice fat sound, and with a little tweaking on the action, they are very playable although the resale value of Takaminie surpasses the Epiphone.
you can also check the Canadian market especially since your money is worth more . You can end up getting a realy bargain. They make 2 awesome guitars, one by Godin and the other Larrivee.
Both are of superior quality and easily comparable, to Martin or Gibson except, they are less expensive . The quality is top-notch worldwide.
