does it matter what electric guitar you have to play good?
i play on a crappy second hand rip off of a fender strat and sometimes find it hard to play some songs. sometimes it easy to solo but at times its just hell. btw i play metal.
Yes it does. You answered your own question. If you are playing on a crappy guitar, thats how you’ll sound. First of all try out different guitars. Second, dont ever buy from a retail market that adds cheap, and cheap lookin guitars to their stock. The action is usually high off the fretboard, and they wont tune to spec. Get a guitar that plays with ease on your fingers, and has tuner pegs that turn with ease, Tuning machines, (or the tuner pegs) make a huge difference. You get what you pay for, so quality is worth the price if your’e really serious.
